Stoked to see so many athletes rolling through over the weekend at It is always a good time catching up and helping athletes get dialed in. As busy as this weekend is, getting to see so many of my athletes in person from all over the world builds a ton of energy.

Plus I got to check out some sweet bikes like Colnago G4-X. Such an awesome bike! Lance is pretty cool as well….

A lot of you probably heard that is closing at the end of the month. While it is sad to see another independent bicycle dealer close, it is also retirement after over 40 years in the bike industry. In those years he has had a significant impact in the cycling world here on the Monterey peninsula. He has had multiple race teams in almost every discipline of cycling from BMX to road, helped organize multiple races, lead multiple bicycle safety rodeos at local schools, as well as support multiple local cycling clubs in the area, and won multiple awards for best bike shop in Monterey county (including this year). Two of the remaining shops here on the peninsula were all started from former employees of His legacy is long! Wishing him the best in his future adventures!

Meanwhile Burnham Coaching and the fit studio isn’t going anywhere. We are currently looking at our different options, and while the location may change, we aren’t going anywhere! Stayed tuned!
