Please consider helping fill this! For those not familiar, the Grove is a non profit dedicated to helping young women who are aging out of the foster care system. They provide affordable housing, and many many resources to help the incredible young women that live their successfully transition to independence. Help them give back to the community by providing some items for this little pantry.
We have a little food pantry that we canât keep full. Lots of people are using it and weâd appreciate donations. If youâre local, please help us fill it with non perishables. Canned veggies & fruits, mac & cheese and oatmeal are all very popular! đ559 S. Hull St. Montgomery, AL

Have you ever heard of the Window Theory? Itâs the quiet reminder that what you see in other peopleâs lives is only a small, carefully chosen viewânever the whole story. You look through their window and see light, success, happiness, and somehow it makes you question your own path, your own pace, your own worth. But what you donât see are the nights they cried, the doubts they carry, the battles they fight behind closed doors. And maybe thatâs where we lose ourselvesâwhen we start measuring our reality against someone elseâs display. The truth is, your life isnât lacking, itâs just unfiltered. And one day, youâll realize you were never meant to live through someone elseâs windowâyou were meant to build a life that feels like home from the inside.

Forcing usually feels productive in the moment.

But the body doesnât measure progress by how far you push.
It measures safety by how well you regulate.
Smooth breath.
Stable base.
Load shared through muscle, not dumped into joints.
Props used early aren't a shortcut.
Theyâre strategy.
And exiting with control tells the nervous system this was training, not threat.
Yoga isnât about earning the shape.
Itâs about building capacity that lasts.

not by taking the hard things away,
but by giving you a way to stay.
A way to breathe
when everything feels tight.
A way to soften
when youâve been holding it all together for too long.

by reminding you that you are not your thoughts,
not your fear,
not the moment that feels overwhelming.
It brings you back into your body,
back into this breath,
back into now.
And in that returnâ
again and againâ
you remember your strength,
your steadiness,
your capacity to choose love.
