As another incredible season comes to a close, we just want to say THANK YOU!

This season at Tz Paddleboard & Kayak Rentals was one for the books. From early-morning paddles and family adventures to first-time kayakers, paddleboarders, Hydrobike rides, and countless days spent enjoying Lake Conroe — we loved being a small part of so many memories.

What started as an idea has continued to grow because of YOU — our customers, our community, our friends, and everyone who recommended us, tagged us, shared our posts, or simply showed up ready for an adventure.

Every rental. Every laugh. Every sunset paddle. Every family that came back again. That’s what makes Tz special.

Texas Water Safari training continues! 🚣‍♂️💪

We started here today with one goal in mind — 16 miles!

I’m officially signed up for the Junior Texas Water Safari at the end of this month, and I’m seriously stoked about it! Today was supposed to be a 16-mile training day, but I made one rookie mistake… I left my third water bottle at home. 🤦‍♂️

By the time I got here, I was absolutely TOAST. I was a little disappointed to call it early, but part of training is knowing when to push and when to call it. Better luck next time — the training continues!

One of the coolest parts of this journey is that it ties right into what we do every day at TZ Paddleboard & Kayak Rentals. We built this business because we love being on the water, getting people outside, and helping others experience how awesome paddling can be.

Whether you’re training for something crazy like the Texas Water Safari, getting a workout in, or just wanting to spend a couple relaxing hours on the water with your family — get out there and paddle!

When I started training for the Texas Water Safari, I remember thinking to myself one day while paddling…

“Of course I’d pick an endurance sport that is straight-up hard as sh.” 😂**

After today’s paddle, my arms are smoked, my back is dead, and apparently this is what I call fun now. 💪🛶

Anyway… you don’t have to paddle hundreds of miles to enjoy being on the water!

Texas Water Safari training is officially BACK. 🛶🔥

My schedule finally opened up, the kids are back in school, and it’s time to start stacking miles again.

There’s something about getting back on the water before most people have even started their day—quiet lake, long miles, tired shoulders, and one goal in mind: be ready when it’s time to race.

The Texas Water Safari doesn’t care how busy you’ve been. It doesn’t care about excuses. You either put in the work or you don’t.

So we’re back to work. 💪

And the best part? Every mile reminds me why I built Tz Paddleboard & Kayak Rentals in the first place. I genuinely love being on the water, and I wanted to create a business that gives other people the opportunity to get out here and experience it too.

Whether you’re chasing a 260-mile race or you just want to spend an hour paddling Lake Conroe with your family, the water has a way of resetting everything.

For me, though… it’s training season. 😈
