❤️❤️❤️A GOOD READ!!! As TSDC Steps into our 40th year, I hope this is how we are seen to the dance community!

Not every child walks into the studio dreaming of Broadway, a professional contract, a trophy, or the front row in the finale.

Some of them are just trying to get through the day.

Some are there because dance is the one place where they can breathe.

Some are there because they love the music, even if they are four counts behind.

Some are there because they want to see their friends, wear the leotard, move their body, and feel good for an hour.

And yes, some of them may never point their feet the way we dream about.

But they are still dancers.

The once-a-week child matters.

The child who forgets the combination every single week matters.

The child who dances full-out in the wrong direction with complete confidence matters.

The shy child matters.

The sensitive child matters.

The distracted child matters.

The child who is not headed for a career in dance still deserves to be taught with respect, patience, and heart.

Because dance education is not only about creating professional dancers.

It is about using dance to enhance a child’s life.

It is about giving them a safe place to lose themselves in music and movement.

It is about surrounding them with adults who see their uniqueness instead of judging their limitations.

It is about building a studio where every child can walk through the door and feel, “There is a place for me here.”

That is the studio I believe in.

Not a studio where only the best are celebrated.

A studio where every child matters.

And if a child comes to class, tries again, dances on the wrong foot, smiles through the confusion, and still comes back next week?

That child has already won.

And so has the teacher who made them feel like they belonged.

My heart is so full tonight after 4 beautiful dance recitals! I truly hope you as parents know how much we love our dancers! Congratulations to our 3 outstanding seniors who have grown up in our studio!

Take a Breath

Recitals are coming fast.
Summer programs are being planned.
Marketing needs attention.
Faculty decisions are on your mind.
And somehow, the daily business of running a studio still needs to happen.

It is a full season.

But in the middle of all of it, I hope you take a breath.

Not because the work is not important.It is.

But because you are important, too.

You cannot keep pushing, plowing, fixing, planning, answering, creating, and leading without giving yourself a moment to breathe. A moment to think. A moment to step back and remember why you started this dream in the first place.

Because very soon, families will walk into a theater because of something you built.

Parents will watch their children step onto a stage and see confidence, courage, joy, and growth.

Grandparents will sit with tears in their eyes.

Little ones will dance under bright lights and remember that moment for the rest of their lives.

This summer, children will walk through your doors and find friendships, confidence, laughter, and maybe even a place where they feel like they belong.

That is your work.

That is your impact.

So yes, there is a lot to do. There always is.

But do not move so fast through this season that you forget to see the beauty of it.

Take a breath.

Look around.

Your dream is touching lives.

And sometimes the most productive thing you can do is stop long enough to remember that. Have an awesome day and enjoy the journey--Rhee ✌💕

• Princess Appearances
• Musical Theatre

Dates for camps are:
June 1-5, 8-12, 15-19, 22-26
July 6-10, 13-17, 20-24, 27-31
We will be closed the week of June 29th-July 3rd. Camp times are Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Camps are for ages 3-11. Please bring a couple of extra snacks and drinks for the day, as well as lunch for your child. The fee is $175 per week. Discounts are available for multiple weeks. We must have at least 8 campers per camp week, or we will not be able to hold camp on that week. Come by the studio to register or mail a deposit to:

To pre-register, fill out the form below and return to the studio or to Ms. Tonya. (Cash or check to Tonya Speed, Cash App: $TonyaSpeed, Venmo: ). Cash App and Venmo payments have a $3 service fee. Again, the total per camp, per week is $175.
