Great week back to dance clases! Love the TSDC dancers!!

No dance classes the week of Thanksgiving ! We follow MPS holidays . Hope you all have a blessed day! And if you did the East chase parade …. Great job and it was such fun! ❤️

This was cool! Madison Parker, one of my dancers for her whole life, won Miss AUM 2023 & I was Miss AUM 1983 (40 years ago)! Loved seeing her in parade!

What a great night for a parade!! The Eastchase Christmas Parade was so much fun! Memories made!! 🩷. Thanks to all who helped tonite! Everyone enjoy the week off for thanksgiving!!

Eastchase parade ready! Starts at 6 PM sharp and we are unit number 3. at the beginning!

It's miss Tonya. The East chase Christmas parade is Friday nov 17 at 6 pm. Dancers must be there at 5 o'clock sharp in place in the Kohl's parking lot. The parade will start at six and we will march around the inside circle of east chase around the fountain, which will be a Christmas tree now, and we will end behind Lane Bryant area in the back in that parking lot. All dancers above the age of five can march and under five we will have pick up trucks to ride in. They will wear their pink TSDC shirt, black leggings, or pants and tennis shoes with a hot pink or black bow in hair! . It is a lot of fun, and the parents will drop the Dancer off at the beginning spot at Kohl's parking lot and you will go find your spot on the parade route to watch. We will not have parents walking along, because the little girls and guys cannot be seen. We have plenty of teachers and helpers. I would imagine that the parade will last no longer than one hour. You will need to pick up your Dancer after you see them in the parade. We are near the very beginning of the parade route, so please come back and get your Dancer and then they can enjoy the rest of the parade as soon as you see them at the end of the route, If it is cold, layer your shirt with a white or black long sleeve underneath, and you can certainly wear gloves, but we need to stay in our color scheme of pink and white and black.
If you told me you are a volunteer truck send me a message individually at 334-549-1098. The kids that are riding in the trucks can bring candy to throw. This is always a fun event, but certainly optional. Please put on your calendar that we hope to have some winter showoff performance March 2 and May 18 is Spring recital. The dancers are doing great at Tsdc! Also please make sure your accounts are up to date and costume deposits are being made so I can order over holidays! I'll be measuring dancers & all should be up to date so I can order their pretty costume. ! Also allow for traffic on Friday because it is terrible and it’s going to take you much longer to get there and find a parking spot 

Looking for a fun birthday party idea?? We have birthday parties at studio! Plan your PINK PARTY ! We have decorations & a 4 foot tall Barbie house with all the furnishings & jeep! Have the guests bring their favorite Barbie & then we will dance to all the fun songs from Barbie movies ! Great rates ! Message us! We do parties for all ages!

Garrett elementary dancers hold up their ducks because we talked about “Get your ducks in a row, and DON’T Bully! This week I had to go to Dancewear Etc, which is in MAC Sporting goods! You can find all your dance needs there!

Tonight, our dance teams at the studio did a flash mob dance to Michael Jackson’s ABC, BEAT IT and MAN in the MIRROR ! We did this to give awareness to the importance of no bullying! No bullying should be as easy as ABC and we want to beat bullying and we also need to look at ourselves like the man in the mirror to make sure we are not a bully, and always remember that bullying stops with us! We had Monique Davis , Jamari Williams, mother, as our guest, and a Jamari Terrell Williams, foundation member, and city Council woman of district 2 Julie Beard. Our dance studio was blessed to have Jamari as one of our dancers for several years, but at the age of 10, he took his own life because of bullying. This is why we try to make this subject a big deal and make everyone aware. Tonight at 10:00 PM, this story will be on WAKA !  thank you to all the Dance Team members who helped make this possible💚💚💚

What a blessing that happened today! Jamari was one of my talented and precious dancers whom we dearly miss but his mother is truly being a light to shine for others in NO BULLYING & su***de awareness . Thank you to the city of Montgomery & council ! Remember in a world where you can be anything…BE KIND💚. October 11th is declared as Jamari Terrell Williams day in our city 💚

Reminiscing today . . .
Once upon a time there were dance competitions where there would be 20 entries in a category that included ballet, tap, jazz and all the other "styles" competing against each other. Only a 1st, 2nd & 3rd place were presented. Yes, that meant that 17 entries went home with nothing. The dancers and their parents could take it, they didn't quit dancing, or move to another school. They worked harder so that they might be one of those who got an award the next time. There were some schools and/or dancers who never won anything. And everyone lived happily ever after 🙂
