Saturday part3. The children and their Dads enjoyed a good day of fishing. The boys only wanted to keep 2 fish. Looking forward to booking them again for a trip of fishing and swimming.

Saturday trip with Rick and his three sons Levi, Nathan, and Aaron started off with a very slow start at the first fishing hole. After 1 1/2 hours and only one fish we moved to another hole where we stayed because it was real productive. Numerous throwbacks and a good catch of keepers. They only wanted to keep a few. They are planning another trip soon and we're looking forward to that.

Today was a fun day out checking catfish holes with the grandkids. We had a good catch. We also the experience of rescuing a dog out in the middle of the lake. We couldn't have done it without help from another boat passing by. The dog was very frightened and looked like she'd had puppies recently. She had jumped in the water for unknown reason and just swam out into the lake. She didn't belong to any of the houses around but a homeowner has her and will try to find out where she belongs.

Saturday was another hot and slow day for catfishing with heavy boat traffic. We still managed a fair number of keeper catfish with several throwbacks and 2 hybrids. Kyla one of my repeat customers and her granddaughter was a great enjoyable trip despite heat and boat traffic.
