Ascend to Excellence. Always Be Prepared to make a Counter Offer. Previously we demonstrated the attacks using tan sau (palm up/dispersing hand) converted to gum sau (pinning hand). Now we demonstrated just a smattering of counter attacks. Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of life, the ability and wherewithal to counter adversity or make a counter offer is important.

Ascend to Excellence. Know Your Options. In continuing our deep dive into sticky hands (chi sau), we explore different attacks from the tan sau, circling hand (huen sau), to pinning hand (gum sau). We are presenting three variations of the technique. There many more, due to the creative nature of Wing Chun Kung Fu. We will also show you the counter attacks. We all have options to situations and circumstances we find ourselves in.

Jonathan Turlington and I are playing chi sau detailing attacks from the four hand positions, tan sau, b**g sau, f**k sau, and chum sau. This drill is the first from the tan sau position, shifting to gum sau (pinning hand), and lop sau (grasping hand), creating an opening and an attack. There are many variations, and we will take a deep dive into all of them. More to come. Stay safe and well.
