Racing has a way of giving you some of the best memories of your life and some of your hardest days and this year has been a reminder of both.

This sport has a way of testing you mentally, physically, and emotionally.

It’s tough.

Racing isn’t a half-hearted sport. It takes everything you have long nights in the shop, early mornings, sacrifice, commitment, and countless hours behind the scenes to make weekends at the racetrack possible.

Unfortunately, our night at 5 Flags ended early with a DNF, and the team will be headed back north sooner than we had hoped.

But make no mistake about it, this car is fast. This car has potential. More importantly, it’s backed by people who live and breathe this sport and refuse to quit.

We’ll rebuild. We’ll regroup. We’ll come back stronger, just like we always have.

Unfortunately, the night turned into a battle of attrition with more wrecked race cars than anyone wanted to see. Not the way anyone hopes to start a season, but that’s racing sometimes.
