This camp is designed especially for our youngest horse lovers and is one of the sweetest events of the summer. It’s relaxed, hands-on, and focused on building confidence while making horses fun instead of intimidating.

• All-day paddock turnout in small groups (pasture in summer)
• Purina feed plan customized by an equine nutritionist for every horse

Part-Time Barn Hand –Weekend, Turn in and Night check.
Swan River Stables in Monticello is looking for a dependable individual on weekends, turn in and night checks . This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who loves being around horses and thrives in an active, outdoor environment.
Responsibilities include:
Horse turn-in and turn-out and grain feeding (2x daily).
Muck and bed 12'x12' stalls to maintain a clean, healthy environment.
Experience: Previous experience handling horses safely is preferred.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs (hay/shavings) and work on your feet in various weather conditions.
Reliability: Our horses depend on us; consistent attendance is a must.

As we wrapped up another Swan River Show Series today, I found myself feeling incredibly grateful.

Thank you to every rider and family who continues to support these shows by registering early, making the drive, and spending your weekends with us. It means so much—especially while we’re still working through improvements around the facility. We know there are projects in progress, little things we’re still fixing, and plenty of ideas we can’t wait to bring to life. Your patience and encouragement while we continue to grow is something we never take for granted.

Every entry helps us continue improving these shows and investing back into Swan River. We hope you know how much we appreciate each and every one of you.

🐴 **Fall Riding Lesson Registration Is Now Open!** 🍂

Our new lesson program begins this September, and riders must register now to request a weekly riding spot for the **full Fall Session: September–December**.

Fall registration is a commitment to your assigned weekly lesson day and time throughout the session. Registering early gives us the information we need to carefully build lesson groups, assign instructors and match riders with the right horses.

⭐ **Current riders who register by July 31 will receive priority scheduling.**

📅 Riders registered by **August 10** will receive their fall lesson calendar by **August 15**.

Lesson tuition includes:
• One scheduled riding lesson each week
• Monthly unmounted horsemanship classes
• Rider-level progress tracking and achievement badges
• A consistent lesson group, instructor and weekly schedule

Spaces are limited and registration does not automatically guarantee placement, so please register as soon as possible if you plan to ride with us this fall!
