U.S. Taekwondo Center is all over the city of Colorado Springs today! Masters Dias and Priya are the Korean Festival in downtown Colorado Springs.

The Demonstration team will be performing at 3:00 PM today. Stop by and say hello!

Master Park taught some basic Taekwondo movements this morning at the Colorado Springs Korean Language School.

The school is next door to the 1st U.S. Taekwondo Center in the country that was opened in 1986 (seen in the background of these pictures). Due to the shifting demographics of Colorado Springs we sold this building in 2021.

Thank you Principal Lee for allowing us to be there today.

Principal Lee's son Justin earned his 3rd degree black belt at U.S. Taekwondo Center and later graduated from the Naval Academy

Good luck to Master Joe Coughlin (USTC Monument) and Master Sean Jung (operates USTC Aurora) at the Poomsae World Championships in Korea!

Both are multi-year members of the USA National Poomsae team

👊The fall Black Belt Physical Test is a wrap! Yesterday over 100 black belts and black belt candidates completed the 3 mile run, 200 pushups, and 200 sit ups. Students pushed their physical and mental limits arriving before 6:00 AM.

Thank you to all of the volunteers and parents who helped yesterday. A special thank you to Brian Delany for organizing the run!
