Hi all! We are just 1 week away from dance starting – how exciting! If you have signed your child up for dance then you are good to go for next week. Please come at your dancer’s time (listed below) and for our 3-3rd grade dancers come on the day that you chose either Tuesday OR Wednesday. We will be going through and adding new dance parents to the private group where we post regularly (if you are new and get a friend request from Muryssa George please add me back because I cannot put you in the group unless we are friends on FB). We are super excited for this upcoming season. REMEBER – you can sign up for dance until the last week of October, after that we do not accept new dancers until September 2027. Our classes do not have max limits at this time so there are still plenty of spots left! WHERE: American Legion in Moorefield, upstairs
WHEN: Starting September 15 and running until the end of April. We do have breaks for holidays. Class times are as follows:
Tuesday 3-Kindergarten: 4:15-5:00
Tuesday 1st-3rd grade: 5:00-6:00
Wednesday 3-Kindergarten: 4:15-5:00
Wednesday 1st-3rd grade: 5:00-6:00
Wednesday 4th-6th grade: 6:00-7:00
Wednesday 7th grade-12th grade: 7:00-8:00
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: Dancers should wear clothes than can move in and have their hair back. Dance shoes (can be found on amazon, ballet or jazz and can be black, tan, or pink) are required but are not needed for the first class so get them when you can! Dancers should also bring water to dance class. Please limit snacks brought and drinks other than water.

Hi all! Above you can find the link to sign up for dance for our 2026-2027 season 🙂

I wanted to post again to share a little more information about our upcoming season of dance! We are okay with, and encourage, our dancers to participate in other activities and understand that some dancers may need to start a little later due to other sports. This is totally fine - please just go ahead and sign your dancer up and let Miss Muryssa know when you will be starting.

Dance is held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the Moorefield American Legion. We will be starting our dance season on Tuesday SEPT 15th this year and will run through the end of April (we do take breaks for the Holidays).

Classes are $35 a month for 1st grade-12th grade students and $30 a month for 3 years old-kindergarten students. We prefer for tuition to be 2x throughout the season - first 4 months due the first day of class in September and the last 4 months due the first day of class in January. You can do monthly payments or other payment plan if needed.

Class Schedules are as following
4:15-5 = 3 year olds through Kindergarten (Tuesdays OR Wednesdays)
5:00-6:00= 1st through 3rd grade (Tuesdays OR Wednesdays)
6:00-7:00= 4th grade through 6th grade (Wednesdays only)
7:00-8:00= 6th grade through 12th grade (Wednesdays only)

For classes that are offered Tuesdays OR Wednesdays you will choose one day to come based off of your schedule and which day works for you and your dancer. You will consistently come on the day you chose throughout the entire dance season.

Hey all! We are so excited for another season back at MDG Dance Studio. The sign up link for the 2026-2027 dance season can be found here:

Classes at our studio are for dancers ages 3-18 years old (if you are older than 18 and you’re interested in our teen class please let me know). Classes are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Moorefield at the American Legion.

The class schedule is as follows:

Tuesdays 4:15-5:00: 3 year olds - Kindergarten
Tuesdays 5:00-6:00: 1st-3rd graders

Wednesdays 4:15-5:00: 3 year olds - Kindergarten
Wednesdays 5:00-6:00: 1st - 3rd graders
Wednesdays 6:00-7:00: 4th - 6th graders
Wednesdays 7:00-8:00: 7th graders and up

If your dancers’ age group is offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you only choose one day to come! These classes benefit from having two nights a week offered so parents can choose which works best for their dancer.

The only change happening this year is that class times are now different - the youngest group will only be a 45 minute class. Class price is still $35 a month for 1st grade and up and $30 a month for 3 year olds through kindergarten.

We teach a variety of dance styles including ballet, lyrical, jazz, modern, and hip hop (only to the teens). We love that dance allows for minds of all ages to express themselves through movement.

Also!! Your dancers are able to get started after volley ball and soccer!!! You have until the end of October to start before sign ups close for the season!

And that’s a wrap on our fourth year of dance here at MDG Dance Studio. We are so thankful for our dancers, their parents/guardians, and this community. These dancers work hard all year to put on the best spring recital and we could not be more proud of them. Until next season! 🩰💛💐

Today is the day! Doors open at 12:30pm! We are so excited to show our family and friends everything we have worked hard learning this year!!

Admission is free, but there will be a free-will donation set up at the door. Donations go towards helping pay for costumes, rent for our dance building, buying supplies, and many other things.

Some changes for dance this week since it’s spring break for the schools..

For Tuesday:
3-kindergarten class will practice from 4:15-5:00
1st-3rd grade will practice from 5-5:45

For Wednesday:
3-kindergarten class will practice from 4:15-5:00
1st-3rd grade will practice from 5-5:45
4th-6th will practice 5:45-6:45
Teens will practice from 6:45-8:15
