HUGE CONFERENCE WIN! 💙⚽️💛

The Lady Pioneers picked up a huge 3-1 win over conference rival Franklin! After falling behind early, the girls kept their composure, battled through the messy rain, and answered with three goals to secure the victory! ⚽️⚽️⚽️

It wasn’t pretty weather, but this team stayed tough, competed for 80 minutes, and found a way to get it done!

Monday night was extra special as we celebrated our two seniors, Amiya Dindiyal and Kaydie Epley, before taking the field against Terre Haute North! 💙💛 We’re so thankful for everything these two have given to our program over the last four years.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with the entire team battling hard from start to finish. It was a strong team effort, and the girls fought until the final whistle. ⚽️

PROVED THE STANDARD: Olivia Ly ⭐️

Olivia stepped into goal for the second half and came up BIG when we needed her. She made several key saves that were crucial in keeping the game tied at 1-1. Her toughness and composure helped us secure the draw!

MHS Athlete of the Week: Mia Goley, Sophomore, Girls Soccer

This week’s Athlete of the Week is sophomore Mia Goley, whose leadership, toughness, and commitment continue to make a tremendous impact on the Mooresville Girls Soccer team.
Despite being only a sophomore, Mia has already established herself as one of the leaders of the Pioneer program. She was selected as a team captain, a responsibility that speaks to the trust she has earned from both her teammates and coaches. Mia embraces that role through the way she competes, prepares, and carries herself each day.

On the field, Mia has contributed 3 goals and 3 assists this season, providing an important presence for the Pioneers on both ends of the field. Her impact, however, extends well beyond the stat sheet. She consistently demonstrates the toughness and competitive mentality needed to battle through adversity and continues to find ways to make her teammates better.

Mia leads through both her words and actions. Her work ethic and confidence have continued to grow, and she brings a level of determination to the field that helps set the standard for those around her. Whether making a play herself, encouraging a teammate, or responding to a difficult moment, Mia continues to show maturity beyond her years.

With two more years still ahead of her, Mia has already developed into an important part of the present and future of Mooresville Girls Soccer. Her ability to make an impact as both a player and a leader at such a young age makes Mia Goley an outstanding representative of the Pioneer program and a very deserving Athlete of the Week.

💛Soccer Senior Sunday 💙

Today we celebrate two seniors who have given so much to Mooresville Girls Soccer: #12 Amiya Dindiyal and #17 Kaydie Epley!

"After over a decade of soccer friendship, tonight we get to celebrate our two seniors who have helped define our program in many ways.

These two great athletes have been exemplary players. They always show up, they always work hard, they always are willing to help a teammate, they always ask the right questions, and best of all they always have fun. And they do it together.

Four years ago these two players came on to a very young and hungry team with big goals. Some goals were successful and some we all got the chance to learn from. There have been ups and downs for sure. But through it all they helped set a very important standard for the program.

Even though their Senior year has had a few growing pains for the program. They have always held themselves to that standard. Grit, Outwork, Lasting Legancy, and Discipline. They've proved it." -Coach Mitchell

A tough battle against a very strong New Pal team. While the result didn’t go our way, the girls battled hard from start to finish and never backed down. 💙⚽️💛

⭐️ PROVED THE STANDARD: Kaydie Epley

Kaydie was strong, tough, and a constant voice for our defense all night. Her leadership and organization on the back line helped catch New Pal offsides five times! A great example of doing the little things that make a big impact.

Keep battling. Keep growing. Keep proving the standard. 💪

After a slow start in the first half on Saturday, the girls came out with more energy and fight in the second, closing the gap before ultimately falling just short, 3-4. Proud of the way this team battled back 💙💛

Game after game, Mia contributes in every facet of the game. Saturday, she scored her first goal of the season and currently leads the team in assists! But her impact goes far beyond the stats, above all, Mia is a tremendous leader and teammate who continues to set the standard! 💪⚽️

⚡️ A little delayed… but this win was worth the wait! ⚡️

After TWO lightning delays, the Pioneers brought plenty of electricity of their own. A full team effort from start to finish led to a 4–1 win over Terre Haute South! 💙💛

Amiya has battled through back injuries, kept pushing, and showed up BIG for her team, finding the back of the net and helping the Pioneers secure the win! 💪⚽️
