Chad started last, went to first, and set fastest time... but his Daytona luck in the Sr. Yamaha Pipe class stuck again at the end of the back straight when the rod blew.

In Feature 2, he went from last to 4th on first lap but didn't get up fast enough to the lead pack. Hopes went up when Nate fell back from the pack and there was drafting partner potential. Bad luck again though with a cut left tire out of the horseshoe.

But will we do it again next year? Of course we will!

Top finishes in the Heat races put him at P3 to start the final where he held his position until chopped off (a side pod takeout, hit behind his front tire) and taken out of the race on the last lap.
