Briggs L0206 Sr - 26 racers - qualified 6th, landed 5th in pre-final. #43 MGM Chassis

A chilly start for Round 2 GoPro Motorplex today: Briggs LO206 Senior class qualified 5th and Prefinal results - landed 4th but had the fastest lap overall on the last lap trying to take 3rd. Great job everyone! MGM Chassis Susan Koehler

A misty night lands us at 5th - great job everyone and nice to be out again - some old faces and lots of new ones so welcome everyone!

No time in the seat since Dec, some funky weather today, wrong gearing 😞, the earlier mud situation, messed up line on the end costed us a spot, and not being able to see due to the visor having so much condensation on the inside and outside - it was just dripping. Till next time . . .

Very pleased with where we ended up on the pre-final. Whilst avoiding an accident/cart got caught up in the water and slid off into the mud. Muddy mess again! Able to get restarted and keep going 🙏 .

All is well - We have been in that same mud spot b4 😞. A joy when it’s cold too - shower for the kart and a heat gun and space heater for the clothes.

Karting Challenge #12 – GoPro Motorplex

Heavy class – Qualified 4th, Pre-final 4th, Final – really had a good run on this but once again this class never disappoints with a brutal attack as we are heading into the top 2 positions and get punted off the track into a large puddle – completely soaked and the kart is a mess. There are no words that would be appropriate to post so we’ll leave it at that. . . we know who you are.

So after cleaning the kart and apparel as best we can . . .off we go to the Senior class.

Senior class – qualified 6th, pre-final 7th, and the final – track was cold and the tires were tired so we ended 8th.

Overall a disappointing day to end the season here at GoPro. . . overall we had a really good season up here as I think we ended up 4th overall in both classes which is saying a lot given this was our first season up here really competing in it. Proud of Austin for how he races and his sportsmanship – he has learned a lot and I couldn’t be prouder of him.

GoPro Karting Challenge - races 10 & 11 - Briggs Heavy

Race #10 - Qualified 4th, Prefinal moved up to 1st and in the final it was a tough battle and we ended 3rd with the fastest lap time.

Race #11 - Prefinal 3rd and moved into 1st but then got squeezed out on the last corner and was almost 4th but thanks to #05 Ryan Casnor for the push to 2nd!!! Thank you!!!
