Labor Day began as a celebration of the American worker and the labor movement. The first Labor Day celebration took place in New York City in 1882, and in 1894, it officially became a federal holiday. The day was created to recognize the contributions, achievements, and hard work of American workers. (U.S. Department of Labor)
So what better way to celebrate than by doing a little hard work of your own? 😂
