Come ride with us on Saturday, June 27th, at the WoodTickr Gravel Fondo! This is a FREE gravel event where you can test yourself on the rolling hills near Hawley, MN. A Fondo means you can ride the routes casually, or race them as fast as you’d like - either way works for us. We offer three courses - 50km, 100km, and 150km so you can get your fill. Park at the Rodeo Grounds where we’ll be setting up shop to provide post ride refreshments including the legendary Spam & Cheese Sandwiches. If you are visiting from out of the area to do WoodTickr Gravel with us later this month and want to camp, here are three options for you to consider. We've posted links to these campsites on the WoodTickr Event Page on our website, link below. Please check them out in advance as reservations are either required or highly recommended to reserve a space. Unfortunately, no camping is allowed within Hawley City Limits so we cannot offer camping at the Rodeo Grounds where we'll be set up on the day of the event.

21 of you toed the line last night for some true Type 2 fun in our Gravel Series Finale in the rain. Below are the series finale standings and the results from last night’s race. We hope to see you at the WoodTickr (6/27) and at the MTB Series in July!

Open Men: 1st - Max Steffes, 2nd - Bremen Abuhl, 3rd - Ryan Erickson
Open Women: 1st - Tina Erickson
Citizen Men: 1st - Makenson Maisonneuve, 2nd - Ryan MacMaster, 3rd - Jeff Kalo
Citizen Women: 1st - Reggie MacMaster

Reminder that registration is open for the WoodTickr Gravel Fondo! This is the inaugural year for the Gravel ‘Sota series and we are excited for the WoodTickr to be included as one of the events in the series! Check out Gravel 'Sota's page for more information if you aren't familiar with what they have started this year.

The WoodTickr Gravel Fondo will be held on Saturday, June 27th. We offer three distances for riders to choose from: The Crawler (~50km), The Nibbler (~100km), and The Full Bite (~150km). We'll have more specific course information soon. The ride takes place on the beautiful and sometimes challenging rolling gravel roads near Hawley, MN. The registration fee is $0, but you can choose to donate to our club if you'd like. Once you have finished your ride we'll feed you the signature dish of our event, the Spam and cheese sandwich, along with other refreshments. We hope to see you there!
