Moorhead High School Girls Golf

The ladies had their first tournament on Friday at Crosswoods. Olivia and Taylor started off the season with their lowest career rounds on the spuds team. Taylor shot a 79 (5th place) and Olivia with an 81 (7th place). Great start to the season!

Day 2 at State AAA State Championship. Madison Hanson shot 80-86-166 and placed 43rd in the 88 player field. Congratulations on an excellent season to our only Senior! We are sure going to miss you!! We wish you the best of luck in whatever your future brings 💚⛳️💚

Section championships… what a trip! Spuds finished 3rd overall. Madi Hanson place 3rd to qualify for the State Tournament at Bunker Hills June 11th and 12th. Taylor Hagen played hole 18 four times yesterday. Three extra times around in a playoff for 7th place and a trip to the state tournament. Unfortunately, it didn’t play out the way we had hoped. But Taylor handled the situation with such grace and poise. It was a rollercoaster of emotions for many of us. It was a great experience and we were so proud of our team. It has been a great year in Spud Girls Golf. We look forward to the State Tournament in a week and a half. Hard work pays off! Keep it up ladies ⛳️💚⛳️

Road trip! Day 1 was wet and 39° at Crosswoods GC, in Crosslake. Day 2 was sunny and 65° at Elk River GC.

These girls were warriors today! The conditions today were less than favorable. No one complained, we were soaked, frozen, and wind burnt in Bemidji.
Spuds placed 2nd in a field of 10 teams.
