The people closest to us notice more than we realize.
One of the most surprising parts of Maggie's story had nothing to do with the gym.
It had everything to do with her daughter.
When Maggie started prioritizing her health, her daughter began asking about workouts, trying movements at home, and even started running herself. 💙

Maggie didn't join Rise because she wanted to become an athlete. She joined because she wanted to feel like herself again.
Her story isn't really about weight loss. It's about getting her life back.

Day 2 in MA brought one big takeaway: winning as you age means not getting weaker.
Chase and Coach Kramer had the opportunity to sit down with Coach Mike Boyle and talk about what training should look like as our bodies change through our 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond.
It’s not always about getting stronger and stronger. It’s about maintaining your strength, feeling good when you wake up and adapting your training so you can keep doing the things you love for years to come.
That perspective is exactly what we want to keep bringing back to our members at Rise. 💪
Great coaches never stop learning.
Chase and Coach Kramer are in Massachusetts this week at Mike Boyle Strength & Conditioning — one of the most respected training facilities in the industry.
The goal? Keep refining what we do and bring the best ideas back to our members at Rise.
A full notebook after day one — and more to come. 💪

Most adults don't want to be twenty-five again. They simply want enough energy to enjoy the life they've worked so hard to build.
- To travel.
- To play with their kids or grandkids.
- To keep up instead of sitting out.
That's what we're really working toward. 💙

That sentence stopped us. Not because Maggie wasn't trying.
Because so many adults know exactly what she meant.
It's realizing you're missing moments with the people you love because you don't feel like yourself anymore.

Coach Chase has noticed a pattern after working with hundreds of adults over 40.
The people who succeed aren't necessarily the most motivated. They aren't the ones with the most free time. And they don't have more willpower than everyone else.
They've made an identity shift.
Before they ever change their habits, they change the way they think about themselves.
Instead of:
"I can't because of my knee."
"I can't stay consistent."
"I can't drink that much water."
They begin saying:
"I am the type of person who takes care of themselves"
"I am someone who stays consistent"
"I put it on the calendar and do what I said I would."
That small shift changes everything.
At Rise, we don't just coach workouts. We coach the mindset and habits that make healthy choices sustainable long after motivation fades.
If you've been relying on motivation to finally "stick with it," this video from Coach Chase explains why that approach usually falls short—and what actually works instead.

You get busy building your career. Raising kids. Taking care of everyone else.
One day you realize you have less energy than you used to.
Things that once felt easy have become harder, and somewhere along the way, you stopped feeling like yourself.
If you've ever thought, "Maybe this is just what getting older feels like," you're not alone.
The good news? It doesn't have to stay that way.
If you're ready to feel stronger, healthier, and more like yourself again, we'd love to help.

Throughout this month, we've shared snippets of Shawn's fitness journey.
For Shawn, the issue with becoming healthier wasn't knowledge.
The issue was actually following through.
