Part 2 of our month-long celebration of fathers series 💙

After sharing Tim’s story last week, we wanted to introduce you to another dad in our community: Adam.

Adam’s biggest win at Rise wasn’t physical.

It was this: “Being able to play with my kids without feeling limited during or after.”

After years in a physically demanding career, even running around with his children had started feeling harder than it should.

That’s why this matters. Not six-pack abs. Not perfection.

Feeling strong enough to fully show up for your life again.

Last month at Rise, we celebrated moms and shared stories from women who decided it was time to prioritize themselves again.

This month, we’re celebrating dads. 💙

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing stories from dads and grandpas at Rise—and hopefully reaching more men out there who might be looking for the right fit, support, and community to finally make their health a priority again.

First up: Tim.

Tim’s reason for getting healthier had nothing to do with chasing perfection. He wanted to get down on the floor and play with his grandkids.

“I've got five grandkids, all under three, and I want to actually get down on the floor and play with them.”

Like a lot of dads, life got busy. Work, family, responsibilities. And over time, he realized he just didn’t feel the way he wanted to anymore.

Now, after 100 workouts at Rise, he says:
“This is the first time that a workout has stuck.”

We had a blast cheering on our Rise members on Saturday at the Essentia Health Fargo Marathon! Way to go, Mandy, John, Andy and Zach - you all inspire us! 💪

To wrap up our month-long celebration of moms, we asked our Director of Training, Megan (a mom of two: a toddler and newborn), some questions on health and motherhood. (Peek the kiddos being kiddos in the background - we love the authenticity 😆)

Here are the takeaways:
1. It’s about being present both body AND mind. Doing this takes care of you, which takes care of your kids.
2. There is never going to be a perfect plan. Something is better than nothing in every season!
3. You are capable and do so much for everyone in your life and still have an opportuntity to show up for yourself. It just takes one daily action at a time.

To any mom out there, we see you. You can choose to start imperfectly by simply requesting more information about how we can help. We're here to meet you where you're at: https://risetrainingmn.fillout.com/t/9fneonKmTkus

“I had difficulty getting to my grandkids’ sporting events…”

This month, we’re celebrating moms and grandmas at every stage.

Michele is a Rise mom (and grandma!) who chose to take her health into her own hands. Now she’s walking on her own again.

“It’s wonderful to enjoy the everyday things…”

👉 You don’t have to do this alone. Book a free consult, and we’ll personalize a plan for you that fits your lifestyle as a parent!

Two more 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ workout milestones to celebrate! Way to go, Steve and Jennifer!

To know Steve is to love him. His wit, kind heart, and incredibly hard working attitude are just the beginning of a long list of things we love about Steve. Despite being 68, Steve is easily one of the most fit members at Rise. He's the perfect example that age does not have to define your ability!

Jennifer is one of our long-time Rise members, and we are so grateful for the positivity and joy she brings to the gym, as well as all the support she's shown our team over the years. (Like random surprise baked goods appearing on our desks!) Jennifer, we are so proud of the hard work you've put in over the years and all the progress you've seen! You are awesome!

Congratulations, you two! 1,000 workouts is something to be super proud of. 💪

As part of our month celebrating moms at Rise, meet Michele.

“I kept prioritizing everything and everyone else ahead of myself…”

Until she decided something had to change.

Michele committed to herself— even after breaking her ankle!

Moms—this is your reminder you’re allowed to choose yourself, too.

Get Started - Rise 05/07/2026

May is for moms 💙 This month, we're sharing real Rise mom stories in the hopes of reaching other moms who might be looking for their "sign" to put their health and themselves first. Because let's be honest...how often do moms put themselves last? (It's often!)

Here's Lacy’s story:

“After becoming a mom, it became much more challenging to prioritize fitness…”

Sound familiar?

Lacy didn’t just want to lose weight—she wanted to feel strong enough to keep up with her kids. She took that first step and met with our coaches to build a plan that keeps her (and her family!) going. Way to go, Lacy!

👉 If Lacy's story resonates with you, go ahead and book a free consult, and we’ll personalize a plan for you that fits your lifestyle as a parent.

A big thank you to Scheels for having us at their Spring Into Fashion event last Sunday evening!

We had so much fun chatting with event attendees, sharing more about what we do at Rise, and inviting people to put their strength to the test with our Grip Strength Challenge! 💪

Thanks, Scheels, for putting on such a wonderful event!
