These guys do a lot of good work, 99% of goes unnoticed. They want the best for these fisheries as much as we do. Personally, I think Cave would be better off without white bass, they are forage destroying machines.

KDFWR stocking Musky this week at Cave Run Lake. Production was so good this year that Cave got an extra 300 fish on top of the normal stocking of around 2700. These were some really healthy fish. Average size was 13.9 inches i think. Good work going on at Cave Run.

What is your expectation/definition of a good fishery?

These guys drove 16 hours to fish for Smallmouth. The lakes along with other outdoor related activities in this region can be an economic driver with proper direction and management.

Matteo and Mark Bonales weren't focused on catching a 9.41-pound, 23.5-inch bass, but it did make their fishing trip even more memorable.

Why has keeping Bass been so discouraged? I don't see that with any other specie, at least not to the same degree.

At my tournaments I hear anglers say the same fish in a 15lb bag at Cave would weigh more at other lakes. What's your opinion?

Would you rather have a trophy lake with fewer fish ( less bites). Or a lake full of good 3 or 4lbers that bite consistently?
