🇺🇸 Never Forget. Never Forgotten. 🇺🇸

Today, one of our local volunteer firefighters took on the 9/11 Stair Climb right here at the Phifer Family YMCA, climbing the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center on the StairMaster from Core Health & Fitness.

This powerful challenge honors the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001, as well as the thousands of first responders and civilians whose lives were forever changed.

We are grateful for the courage, sacrifice, and service of our first responders—then and now. ❤️💙

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage of the first responders, service members and everyday people who stepped forward to help others.

We remember the families and communities forever changed by that day.

Twenty-five years later, may we continue to choose compassion, care for our neighbors and find strength in standing together.

A Bright Change Is Coming to Phifer Family YMCA!

We’re making some important improvements at Phifer Family YMCA, and we’re excited about what’s ahead! As we complete a waterline repair and install new equipment in our Wellness Center, there will be a few temporary changes to our schedule.

Monday, August 31
Phifer Family YMCA will close at 7 p.m. for waterline repairs. 24/7 access will also close at 7 p.m.

Tuesday, September 1
The Y will reopen at 8 a.m. for pool, full locker room access, racquetball courts, and hYbrid access only. The Wellness Center will be closed while new equipment is installed.

Group exercise classes will be cancelled Tuesday morning and will resume Tuesday evening at 5:30 pm.

Wednesday, September 2
The Wellness Center will reopen, featuring new equipment and a bright new change for our members!

We know changes to the schedule can be frustrating, and we appreciate your patience and flexibility. These temporary adjustments allow us to address important facility needs and make improvements that create an even better experience for our members.
