Helbig and George's lethal connection looks to bring a state title to University MORGANTOWN, W. Va.— Reaching the state semifinals in 2025 was a bittersweet moment for University quarterback Harrison Helbig and wide receiver Hayden George.

The rain held off for a fantastic evening of community gathering. Thank you to our families, friends, classmates, neighbors and everyone who showed up tonight. Special thank you to the UHS band, cheerleaders, food vendors and Fan Fest sponsors for your support. We can’t wait until the 2026 season kicks off. Go Hawks!
