Flicks from Formal 📸🪩🕺🏼Had our annual team formal at this weekend! The perfect way to celebrate the end of an amazing season and the school year ✨

The team wrapped up their season in Olivet, Michigan, competing at Nationals. First we had .hartle.1 .garrtt_ represent WVU track club in the half marathon!! On the track, we had Ella Andrew earning All-American honors in both the 1500m (6th) and the 800m (8th). Congrats to for also breaking the club record in the 400m hurdles.

On the men's side, the 4x100m relay team of .sober placed 6th overall, earning All-American honors and setting a new club record in the process. In the field events, Christian Hicks jumped to 4th place and earned All-American in high jump. Shoutout as well to Andrew McGillivray for breaking the club record in the 1500m, and for breaking the shot put record (again)!
The men finished tied for 19th overall, and the women placed 20th. We’re incredibly proud of everything this team accomplished this season. Let’s go!!

This past weekend, the team headed to JMU for the Mid-Atlantic Showdown! Huge congratulations to the women’s team for bringing home first place 🥇, and to the men’s team for finishing fourth overall!! The Mountaineers are heading to Virginia for one last meet before nationals 👀🔥 LET'S GO!!!!

This past weekend, the team headed to D.C. to compete at the Capital Relays hosted by

To start, the men’s team were the CHAMPIONS taking 1st overall with 96 points 🥇The women’s team also had a phenomenal day earning 2nd overall with 71 points🥈Congrats to everyone who competed!

Women’s Highlights:
2nd in the 100m
1st in the mile & 800m
2nd in the 200m
-1st in the Women's DMR
-1st in the Women’s Swedish Medley Relay

Men’s Highlights:
was 3rd in the 3k and 2nd in the Devil’s Race
1st in the 100m
2nd in Jile (sub-5!)
2nd in the 800m
3rd in the 200m
-1st in the Men’s Swedish Medley Relay
-1st in Men's DMR
-1st in Mixed 4x4 “Chocolate Milk”/Anything but Baton Relay

This meet is one we always look forward to because of the unique events including the Jile (Jean mile), Devil’s Race, Swedish Medley Relay, and the Chocolate Milk “Anything But a Baton” 4x4. Huge shoutout to everyone who showed up and brought incredible energy to the meet!

Happy running in Happy Valley!
This past weekend we brought 50+ runners to the Happy Valley Invite! Congrats to our girls team for placing 4th and to the men's team who got 5th! We also had 7 broken club records!
