The WVU women’s lacrosse club team was founded in 2005 by a group of girls who had a strong passion for lacrosse. They started out with no money, two games, fourteen players and home-made uniforms. Ten years later this club has now adapted into a great team that plays around twelve games a season and is a member of the WCLL Division 1 East. This weekend, we got to celebrate Abby our graduating senior this fall!! We recognized all of her hard work and dedication to not only this team but also off the field in her degree, campus clubs, and everything she’s achieved as a Mountaineer

Sponsor a Player – WVU Women’s Lacrosse Fall 2025 Fundraiser 🚨
This season, we’re excited to launch our Sponsor a Player program! 💛💙
Here’s how it works:
👉 Choose your favorite Mountaineer to sponsor.
👉 After each game, you’ll donate based on your player’s stats:
Ground Ball = $1
Caused Turnover = $1
Goalie Save = $1
Draw Control = $2
Assist = $2
Goal = $3
Goalie Shutout = $20
Example: If your sponsored player scores 2 goals, dishes out 1 assist, wins 2 draw controls, and grabs 3 ground balls, your donation for that game would be $15! 🙌🏻
This is a fun way to cheer on your favorite athlete while directly supporting our team’s travel, equipment, and program growth this fall. Every stat counts, and so does every dollar!
