🏊‍♀️ GOOD NEWS: THE POOL IS BACK! 🎉

The bad news… Mother Nature is not exactly giving us ideal swimming weather this weekend. 🙃🌧️

Just a few reminders as we head into the weekend:

⚡ NO SWIMMING if there is lightning. Please use good judgment and get out of the pool immediately if storms roll in.

☔ Our lifeguard hours will likely vary with this yucky weather, so keep an eye on our page for updates!

We’re just happy to have the pool back up and running and hoping the weather decides to cooperate! 🤞☀️💦

🚨 POOL CLOSED TODAY, THURSDAY 8/13 🚨

Unfortunately, the pool will be closed again today, BUT we have good news! 🙌 We figured out the problem and it’s being fixed! 🎉

We are hopeful that we’ll be back up and running tomorrow! 🤞💦

We’re thinking about ending summer with a 90s-themed block party at the pool over Labor Day weekend! 🌈💦

We’re talking neon, temporary tattoos, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, hopscotch, popsicles, 90s music and all the simple, old-school summer fun. ☀️🫧🍭

Nothing fancy — just a fun day for the neighborhood to hang out, let the kids play, and give summer one last hurrah before we say goodbye to pool season!

☀️ End of Summer Pool Reminder ☀️

As we head into the last few weeks of pool season, we just wanted to share a few friendly reminders to help keep Hatcher Woods Pool clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone!

🏊 Please keep all food and drinks away from the pool. If you're having a snack, we ask that you use the picnic tables or lounge chairs to help keep ants and other bugs away from the pool area.

🗑️ Please clean up after yourself before you leave. A little teamwork goes a long way in keeping our pool looking its best!

🌅 The pool closes at dusk each day. This is a State of Illinois requirement, so please plan accordingly.

👩‍🦰 Lifeguard hours may change as summer winds down and school activities begin. We'll continue to post updates here on Facebook and keep everyone informed as schedules change.
