Bean Station Raiders Football

Tomorrow is GAME DAY!!!! PW Raiders play the Crusaders on Rogers Field, Parents please have your player there no later than 11:00am. JR Raiders play Crusaders on Hold Field at 1:00pm, again parents have your player there 45 minutes early.

RAIDER NATION: There will be a yard sale this Thursday and Friday at the, team mom, Penny Garland's home in Bean Station. She is taking donated items to sell at this time. All items must be taken to her home by Wednesday evening. So lets all gather up what we can't use and let the team make some money!!!!

Good Morning Raider Nation!!! I bet our boys are glad to have a day off after the last two brutal days of practice. Well we have a little more good news for them today!!! There will be no practice on Friday or Monday and no game on Saturday due to it being Labor Day weekend. We all hope our cheerleaders, football players, parents and fans have a wonderful and safe Labor Day.

Please don't forget that on Monday, September 2nd all players must be at Frank Lorino Park for pictures with Chuck Hale at 5:30.

Yesterdays games for both the juniors and p*ewee leagues did not go well. I am not going to write the scores down today, but I will say this... You boys need to get off your butts and act like somebody stole something from you out on that field! Your lack motivation, team togetherness, and team spirit really showed on that field yesterday!
Parents: It really helps your child to show your spirit on the sidelines! Get up, yell scream and show you are as in the game as your child! Motivation is key!!!!

In closing, I honestly hope that next week is a turnaround on both sides of that fence! Be ready for some rough practice this week!

Pictures with Sweet Shutters Photography will be on September 21 at 5:00. The location is still being finalized.

All Raiders must meet at Frank Lorino Park Monday @ 5:30 to have pictures done with Chuck Hale. Even if you have decided to go with Sweet Shutters Photography, we still have to have a team picture done with Chuck Hale.

We would like to ask for your prayers for a junior player that was hurt at practice tonight. He is at UT right now getting some tests done. We are not 100% sure of cause or condition, please keep this sweet boy in your thoughts and prayers!!!
