An update on the Cluesman’s… the water reached about 5’ inside the house and as you can imagine, most everything is ruined. Jeremiah Cluesman and family are safe and thankful the house is still intact. It’s going to be a long process to get them back in the house, but they were able to start sorting through things today. I spent the better part of the day just trying to remove the foot of mud around the house so they can get better access. It’s a huge mess as is every other property near the Nolichucky. We’ve got a great start at raising some funds for rebuilding and thank you to everyone that has donated. Please share and continue to pray for this family as they get things worked out. ❤️

You wouldn’t think that East TN would be much of a concern for hurricanes, but the effects of this latest one has devastated one of our own. Someone I’m proud to call a close friend, Jeremiah Cluesman and his family are dealing with a catastrophic event due to the flood waters of the continuous rain we received from the hurricane this week. Many of you know Jeremiah as a fellow callmaker and collector who would never ask for anything, but his home and shop are completely underwater as the Nolichucky River has taken over. You can see his place in the background of the picture. I’ve put together a Gofundme page for him and his family to assist with rebuilding once the water recedes. Please consider helping if you are able to and send up some prayers for our friend every chance you get!

Only spent an afternoon carving again, but I’m already tired of the dust!!! 😝

First time ever making anything with this kind of clearances, but it is really satisfying to make something useful from scratch!!
