September 27–28 “Josey Wales” Shoot
In this special event, you have the option of using 4 pistols & a shotgun, no rifle. And just like the June Club Shoot, you can run all ten stages on Saturday. It's also a smaller match, good for new participants as well.
You may also shoot this as a Wild Bunch category. Four 5-round magazines and your '97 shotgun loaded.
Josey Wales shooters will be either Black Powder or Smokeless categories. As a Josey shooter you will be under the shooting style rules of B-Western (not the costume rules, just shooting style). So you can shoot one-handed, two handed or gunfighter at any point in the match. Any SASS shooting style at any time.
At all events, spectators are always welcome. Please remember to bring your eye and ear protection. Also available at the club if needed. Free dry camping on the grounds.

Cowboy Action Shooting The sport is an attempt to re-live the time of the "Old West", whether real or fantasy.
The shooting competition utilizes reactive steel targets and live ammunition. Shooters negotiate scenarios based on real or imagined incidents from the history of the 19th century West or the silver screen of the Saturday matinee. Setup will be the Wednesday and Thursday before that. All Welcome!
Side events on Friday include Wild Bunch, Plainsman, Warm up, and speed events.
Free dry camping on the range.
Pot luck and raffle Saturday evening.
Awards and the big raffle (R***R!) and free shoots Sunday afternoon
