The APBA Junior Class Racing Western Divisionals have been moved to Seattle Outboard Association event Scooteney Regatta, August 29th and 30th.

Attention: SOA will be selling Summer Moses T-shirts for $20. The sale of these shirts will go to offset costs for the cancellation fee to Cascade Park. There are 53 left in stock and are first come first serve. Please comment below with how many are needed in your group and size(s).

Unfortunately, the board has voted against holding the race this weekend in Moses Lake. Canceling races is never the goal. However, the health and safety of our members was our top priority in making this decision.

We are looking forward to racing later this month at Scootney, and in September at Lawrence Lake!

Hi there!

We are writing to let you know that the Seattle Outboard Board of Directors is closely monitoring the air quality in Moses Lake. Current forecasts show conditions worsening as we head into the weekend.

As of this evening, the plan is to continue monitoring conditions and reconvene as a Board of Directors tomorrow evening, taking into consideration both the updated forecast and tomorrow’s actual air quality. We will have a decision no later than this time tomorrow night.

Please stand by for more information. We sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. While we would hate to see an event canceled, the health and safety of everyone involved is our priority as we make this decision.

Thinking of our friends in Spokane….

With these fires creating a major impact in our region, please keep your thoughts and prayers with the people of Spokane. Many of our members are Spokane locals, several of which are affected by these fires. 60,000+ people have been forced to evacuate their homes and roughly 700 structures have been destroyed by these fires. Above all SLORA is a family first organization. Please keep our SLORA family in your thoughts.

Summer Moses Lake in two weeks. Driver's school "New Folks in Boats" Friday 9am-5pm, no testing Friday allowed for racers. Junior Western Divisional Saturday. Move in is Friday. If you're helping with Friday's school and want to show up Thursday, please check in and pay with Park for Thursday night camping.

🚨 DMH Drivers Needed! 🚨

An out-of-region DMH driver is making the trip to Moses Lake #2 on August 15–16 and needs some boats to race with! Let's show them some Region 10 hospitality and help build a strong DMH field.

If you're available, please make plans to join us and spread the word to other DMH racers. Let's get this class on the course! 🏁
