Gold Creek Station Gets New Owners, Plans To Return Under Future Operator

A beloved Naches venue that shuttered its doors after 80 years in business, is getting a second life under new ownership with plans to lease operations to the right person.

Jeremie Dufault and Dan Politte recently purchased the property with nostalgic hopes of returning it to a central gathering place for locals and travelers alike.

“We both always liked Gold Creek and they had the best, world-famous fish and chips, and we were sad to see it close,” Dufault said. “I always enjoyed going there and that they were so friendly and just really good community people.”

Politte and Dufault are working on doing some cleanup, repairs and light remodeling around the property, which has been vacant for a little over a year. Once finished, the business partners will start marketing the property for lease.
