This is a followup to the post I shared in June...more reasons we care about the correct posting diagonal (and there are more).

For the horse's sake, we must teach our students why we care which diagonal we are on, how to identify the correct diagonal and ways to fix it it if it is incorrect.

Boy that's the truth!

If you’ve done dressage for 15 minutes or 15 years, you know it’s a never-ending process of learning.

And it should be. When you’re in the saddle, you are the trainer, whether you’ve ridden one horse or a hundred.

That’s part of what makes it challenging - and also what makes it so rewarding.

When I created Team Tate Academy, the goal was to build a resource riders could return to again and again, no matter their level, discipline, or goals.
