Well the AMA State Championship Race was a Huge Success. We can to thank everyone who came out, drove countless hours, parked those RV's, prepped those bikes, and battled it out on our track! Congratulations to our winners in each category! We want to see all your BEST Pictures from this past weekend. Racing, prepping, cleaning, and relaxing. We have a special prize to the best photo we receive. So post them here and show off what you did this weekend! Please comment and like your favorites that are posted!
Thanks again to all the hard working staff that helped prep, set up, worked the entire weekend with little sleep and of course the clean up crews. There is alot of work that goes into prepping for these large races that go unlooked before and after. From ordering, paperwork, approval, getting trophies ready, designing shirts, shopping for concessions as well as cooking and oh the dishes, with the Dirt Magician prepping the entire track, setting up the tower for registration and line up in the computer, lots and lots of cleaning and mowing, checking the light boxes, making last minute repairs, finding who moved the checked flag as well as staffing in each department and so much more behind the scenes!
Special thanks to Garrett, Ell & Ari (Reid and Lisa's children) for putting in countless hours and putting up with Dirt Magician, Josh & Jody, Kurt & Amanda, Poopy, Kate, Brenda, Trish and the rest of the Tower Team, T1 & CJ for the maintenance checks, new light boxes and last minute fixes. Paul, Jordan, Jayden D, Keinen, Keeley, Al, Nora, Jack, Jayden P, as well as the rest of our flagging team for keeping everyone safe, for all their help from prep, to set up, gate time, flagging and on call fixers. Thanks to Grandpa Bob, Ronee, Randy, Pete our announcer, Sheila & Janelle up at the Bitch'n Kitchen for the awesome concessions with their crew. Tony from Herrell Electric, Kathy Kingery from The Zoo, C&N Embroidery in Galena, PJ from Plattenberger Plumbing, Brandon Prowant from Kunes, Scott with JCWifi, Charlie at Shaw's IGA, Poopy's, and of course the AMA, our Referee and finally to the Mount Carroll Ambulance crew for hanging out with us all weekend!
We are a family track...we may not all be blood related but true family are the ones that show up every time even when it is tough!
Thanks for a great season and looking forward to a great 2027. We will still be having OPEN Practices for the rest of the season until the snow falls, so make sure to check our FB Page posts for dates.
