🚶♀️NEAT = Your Secret Weapon
You crushed that 1-hour workout. Amazing. But if you sit the rest of the day, you might still burn less than someone who never hit the gym—but stayed active all day.
Here’s why:
🧠 NEAT (Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis) = all the calories you burn outside the gym—walking, cleaning, grocery shopping, yard work, stairs, even helping someone find their damn shoes.
🔥 Studies show NEAT can account for 15–30% of your total daily energy expenditure—compared to just 5–10% from structured exercise.
So while workouts are important, daily movement throughout the day makes the biggest impact on your metabolism, energy, and long-term health.

But especially if you are. 💥
You don’t need to fall for every bar, chip, or cookie just because it yells “PROTEIN” on the package.
Whole foods always win—eggs, salmon, chicken, beans, seeds. Boom. Gains. 🍳🐓🐟🌱
And yes—clean protein powders? Absolutely part of the team. Just don’t get tricked by the snack aisle wearing a gym badge. 🛑🏋️♀️
