Please excuse our mess while we are experiencing growing pains. Our kids are growing like weeds!

Recently, we have started a new kids class to provide an extra challenge and to free up some space for new students. This class will be for our students who are looking to compete, are no longer suited to the younger classes, or have been invited by the instructors. This advanced kids class will combine with the adult fundamentals classes. Here are the changes going forward:

1) Our new class schedule for Sundays and Thursdays will be as follows:

6:00-6:30 - Littles class (ages 5-8)
6:30-7:30 - Kids class (ages 8+)
7:30-8:30 - Advanced kids/Fundamental adults class (kids by invitation, adults of any skill level)

2) We will change some of our uniform schedules. Starting this coming Sunday, June 14th, Sunday and the following Thursday will both match and be either Gi or No Gi. For example, Sunday, June 14th will be a No Gi class, and Thursday, June 18th will also be No Gi. The following Sunday and Thursday will flip to Gi again. This gives our kids and adults equal training time for Gi and No Gi.

We are still adjusting these classes and likely will be in the coming weeks to give the best experience for all our students. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! We understand we have had a lot of changes lately.

It's springtime, so I know some folks are cleaning out their closets! Our donated gi shelves are sitting a bit empty at the moment. If anyone has outgrown some of their gis (kids' or adults'), we would love to have them for new members! It's always great to be able to supply a gi to kids or adults who are new and don't know their sizes yet! I'm sure we can all attest to how hard it is to figure out what sizes to order.

What a great night to be on the mats! Progress in this sport demands dedication and time. The opportunity to bring the school together and celebrate everyone’s hard work makes everyone’s achievements that much more special. Congratulations to all those who received stripes tonight and big shout out to our newest blue belts Colton and Frank! Shark tank photos to come!

Congratulations Emma on receiving your blue belt! 5 years of dedication has its rewards. Keep up all the hard work on and off the mats!

Had a few more promotions tonight and a fun shark tank to celebrate. Congratulations to everyone who has leveled up!

By far the biggest night on the mat for the kids! It was a full house tonight as we awarded some much deserved promotions. We have 3 shiny new gray belts along with several new stripes. Everyone has been putting in the work and showing us just what they are capable of accomplishing. Congratulations to everyone who leveled up tonight and big thank you to all the parents that allow us to work with them!

Reminder no adult/womens class on Friday this week due to team training. We are still having kids open mat from 6-7.
