Precision asks your brain to show up as much as your body — full focus, controlled breath, no autopilot reps. That same mind-body engagement is part of why we're supporting this month's Alzheimer's fundraiser. Save this as your reminder: every mindful rep trains both.

Slow, honest, steady. That is how we like our reps, and our mornings.

Our Group Reformer Class caps at four students — never more — so every spring adjustment, every cue, and every correction is built around your body, not a crowd. It's the same classical apparatus that shaped generations of Pilates practice, taught the boutique way: close attention, visible progress, no guesswork. If you're 45+ and ready to feel your strength and posture shift session by session, this is the room for you. DM us "REFORMER" to reserve your spot, or find the link in our bio to book.

In the Side-Lying Leg Series, the top hip loves to drift backward once fatigue sets in — and that's when momentum takes over from the muscle you're trying to train. Keep both hip points stacked, reach the working leg from the hip socket, and let the standing side of the body stay quiet and long. Small range, real control, better results. Save this for your next mat class and check yourself before you press play.

Your pelvic floor isn't meant to clench—it's meant to lift and release in rhythm with your breath. In classical Pilates, this quiet engagement supports everything from footwork to full body extension, and it's one of the most misunderstood cues in the room. Try this in your next session: inhale wide to prepare, exhale to lift gently from the base of your pelvis (think 'draw up,' not 'squeeze'), then let it fully release between reps. A held pelvic floor loses its power just like a held breath does. Save this for your next mat class.

If your low back grips when you reach into The Saw, the fix is rotation control, not a deeper stretch. Swipe through our 3-step breakdown: root through both sit bones, rotate from the ribcage (not the hips), then exhale to lengthen without collapsing the spine. Keep the work in your obliques and thoracic spine — that's exactly where it belongs. Save this for your next mat class.
