Looks like Farwell has really “spruced-up” its access point to the Pere Marquette Rail Trail! It already has picnic areas, and other amenities along the trail, just east of this access point.

His idea is, in his own words, "revolutionize your cycling experience, making cycling more rewarding for everyone, from high-performance athletes to those who simply love cycling," an interesting initiative that aims to reach all cycling enthusiasts, but that at the moment it will stay in the high performance segment and the cyclists with the highest purchasing power.

Flitedeck is an integrated handlebar/steer and power set that incorporates a touch information and control system. It's a handlebar that 'has eaten' a state-of-the-art bike computer, a pedestrian-detecting radar and even a rear-view camera, whose functions, including bike light control, let you ride without letting go of your hands at any time.

Elite competitors are split between established road racers, such as Mathieu van der Poel and Marianne Vos, two Dutch superstars, and gravel specialists, such as Ted King, an American, and Tiffany Cromwell, an Australian. Last year two road racers—Slovenia’s Matej Mohoric and Poland’s Kasia Niewiadoma—took the honours. But as the discipline matures and more gravel-specific skills emerge, roadies will probably find it harder to keep pace.”
