Rob Tisor is on a roll. After landing a 12 #+ flathead from the dam Thursday, he landed this channel cat at just under 13 # today. He was using live goldfish for bait.

Don't forget that tonight is our last bait shop, front porch music event of the evening. Rib special on the menu too. The shop will have limited access after 6pm this evening.

Update from the river, it's on the rise folks!!!

Plenty of rain last night and this morning, especially to the NW of us in the Des Moines area. Hopefully that means a rising river, and favorable conditions for fishing this weekend. We also will have some much needed relief from the heat.

Monday afternoon I had some success with chubs and dip baits on channel cats.

We're restocking sunfish this week, and have chubs, goldfish and minnows in the tank!

Don't forget, our Labor Day rod and reel sale will continue through this Sunday the 13th!
