We're ramping up for the 2019 season here at Lowcountry Men's Baseball!! We're holding an open workout for those interested in playing in the 2019 Spring season on February 10, 2019 at Shipyard Park. If you haven't registered yet, please do at the link at the end of the message.

Hey everyone! We're getting geared up for a brand new season for the 22+ and 38+ Charleston Men's Baseball Leagues! Both leagues are wood bat and play 15 regular season games and play in a postseason tournament.
Open workout/tryouts will be held February 10, 2019 at 1:00PM ET at Shipyard Park, which is located at the address below. Be sure to sign up on the league website to be a part of it! Our first games will be March 3, 2019. Be sure to reach out to get on a team before then!

Congrats to the Charleston Pirates for winning the 2018 Fall Ball Tournament Championship last night at Shipyard Park! The Pirates, coached by Damien Clouse, walked off game 2 of the series against the Charleston Sand Devils in dramatic fashion with a deep drive by catcher Gabe Stephenson in the bottom of the 9th inning that brought 2nd baseman Steven Maner home to win 5-4. Alex Vanderheyden earned the win after relieving starter Andy Frye in the 7th. Game 1 of the series saw a final score of 12-8, with the Pirates rallying behind a strong pitching performance and 5 innings by starter Drew Cohen who earned the win. The Pirates claim the MPR Fall Ball Heavyweight Title Belt for this year and will hold onto it until it is up for grabs again in 2019.
Congrats as well to the Sand Devils, coached by Chris Gray, who had a great year and ended the regular season with a perfect 12-0 record.
Thank you to the Mount Pleasant Recreation Dept. and Shipyard Park for the great season and continued support. We hope everyone has a safe holiday season and merry Christmas, and we are looking forward to seeing you all in the new year for the upcoming 2019 Spring Season!
