Join us this weekend for the Holiday Bazaar at the Mt. Sterling Community Center! 🎄

Stop by this Saturday, October 17th, from 10am–2pm for a fun day of shopping, food, sweet treats, and community fun, all while supporting our Outdoor Recreation Project! There will be a Shop Hop, raffles, giveaways, a quilt show, door prizes, a 50/50 drawing, and plenty of opportunities to get a head start on your holiday shopping.

They're also collecting canned goods for our Food Pantry! Bring canned goods with you and receive entries into the giveaways, with a limit of 10 free entries per person. It's a great way to support our neighbors while having a little extra fun!

And while you're here, be sure to grab some subs from the sub sale! Quantities are extremely limited, so you'll want to get yours before they're gone.

Come shop, enjoy the festivities, and help us make a difference in our community. We hope to see you Saturday!

Come hungry and help us raise funds for our Outdoor Recreation Project! 🥖❤️

We'll have a limited number of subs available for purchase during the Holiday Bazaar this Saturday, October 17th, from 10am–2pm at the Mt. Sterling Community Center! Subs are just $6 each, with proceeds supporting our efforts to bring new outdoor recreation opportunities to our community.

If you already placed and paid for a sub preorder, you're all set! In addition to those preorders, we'll have a very limited number of extra subs available for purchase during the event. These will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to stop by early!
Cash is the preferred method of payment, but we can also accept checks or Venmo if needed. We'll also have Megan's famous Chicken & Noodles available for purchase!

Come grab a bite, enjoy the Holiday Bazaar, and help us get one step closer to making our Outdoor Recreation Project a reality!

The wait is over… our gym is officially BACK OPEN! 🎉🏀

After weeks of remodeling and refinishing, we're so excited to welcome everyone back into our refreshed gymnasium! We absolutely love how everything turned out and couldn't be more grateful to everyone who contributed their time, hard work, and support to making these improvements possible. Don't forget, our gym is available to rent! Whether you're planning a birthday party, family gathering, sporting event, or another special occasion, we'd love to help you make use of this space.

Community Resource: MATCO Services Inc.'s 5th Annual Community Shred Day!

Have old documents or paperwork you've been meaning to get rid of? MATCO Services is hosting its 5th Annual Community Shred Day this Saturday, October 10th, from 9am–12pm at 204 Maple Street in London!

This event is FREE for Madison County residents and offers a convenient way to securely dispose of personal documents while helping protect against identity theft. All shredding will be completed on-site, and there's no need to remove staples or paper clips. Please note that this event is for residential shredding only, and no plastic or vinyl will be accepted.

While the event is free, donations are welcome and will benefit adults with developmental disabilities.

We're happy to help spread the word about resources and opportunities that benefit our neighbors throughout Madison County! Be sure to share this with someone who could take advantage of this event.

Take a proactive step toward understanding your health right here in Mt. Sterling!

The Mt. Sterling Community Center will serve as a host location for an upcoming Life Line Screening event on Friday, October 9th. Adults age 40 and older can take advantage of preventive screenings designed to identify potential risks for stroke and cardiovascular disease.

Special pricing of $129 includes four screenings for carotid artery disease, atrial fibrillation, abdominal aortic aneurysm, and peripheral artery disease.

Appointments are required. Schedule yours by calling 800-324-9458 and using promo code HABC001, scanning the QR code on the flyer, or texting “circle” to 216-279-1607.

It's going to be a rainy one as we kick off fall this week, but there are plenty of opportunities to get involved or stop into the Community Center🍁

Don't forget: Monthly recycling will take place on Monday, September 28th from 8:30am-11am, and our Produce Market will continue to take place on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month.

August was a busy month at the Mt. Sterling Community Center, and we’re grateful for every bit of impact we were able to make along the way. ❤️

Our August Community Impact Report is a reflection of what happens when volunteers, donors, partners, and community members continue to come together to support our programs, resources, and neighbors. Thank you to everyone who plays a part in making this work possible!

August also brought one of our biggest community events of the summer, our Back to School Bash/ National Night Out. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make that evening possible and to all of the families who joined us.

There’s a lot more to share from that night, so keep an eye out for our Back to School Bash/ National Night Out Impact Report coming in the next few days!
