The club opened in 1915 and boasts a wonderful golf course

designed by Thomas Bendelow and Barry Serafin. The club hosts less than 4000 rounds per year and often rounds can be played with only the accompaniment of the natural wildlife that resides on the grounds. The club is considered one of the premier private clubs in Central Ohio and has become known for their world class member service. All who visit the club can’t help but notice the gorgeous natural setting amongst the trees and foothills, but the club has much more to offer. The dining experience is also considered the finest in the area. Fresh foods from local sources and around the world are prepared by an elite chef and his culinary team, and then served in the magnificent setting that is the Clubhouse. The club is truly blessed to have a vibrant membership of families, executives, and community leaders who share life long memories created in the warmth of Mount Vernon Country Club.

Today, we pause to remember the selfless sacrifices made on September 11, 2001. 🇺🇸

We remember the innocent lives lost that day, the brave souls who rushed toward danger to save others, and the countless lives lost in the years since as a result of the physical and lasting effects of that tragic day.

We honor the first responders, military members, families, and all those who carried the weight of 9/11 long after the headlines faded.

May we never forget their sacrifices. May their courage continue to inspire hope, kindness, unity, and positivity.

A Day Late, But Certainly Not Forgotten! 🌿⛳

Yesterday was National Thank a Golf Course Superintendent Day, but since our Club was closed for the Labor Day holiday, we’re taking a moment today to recognize the incredible work that happens behind the scenes.

Keeping a golf course in beautiful condition takes dedication, expertise, long hours, and a true passion for the game. From maintaining our greens and fairways to caring for every detail that makes our course special, our golf course superintendent and maintenance team work tirelessly to provide our members with a course they can be proud of.

So, although our thank-you is a day late, our appreciation is right on time! Thank you for everything you do to keep Mount Vernon Country Club looking its best!
