Let's be real for a minute. It's hot outside. We all want to run, but sometimes the elements sideline us. Trails are littered with bugs. Overgrowth may be running rampant. Did we mention it's hot and miserable?

Of course, not all scenarios apply to all trail runners. For many of us here in Arkansas, summer trail running isn't really a thing.

So DTER community - what do you do in the summer months to maintain training?

The Run for Tomorrow 5K is back for a second year, and organizers say the first race did more than raise money. It helped build a local safety net for families touched by su***de.
