We are so excited to offer our first 6 week Bachata Sensual Fundamentals series of 2022 , Wednesday's starting on January 19th at Areté in Los Altos. 🌟💃🏼🕺🏽

In this workshop, we will be teaching the official methodology by Korke & Judith, who founded Bachata Sensual over 15 years ago in Spain. In addition to solidifying a proper bachata basic, body awareness and isolations, we will cover the 14 essential movements and techniques that will allow you to lead/follow almost every possible sensual movement. The classes will be progressive.. building one upon the other.

We will end the series with a mini social to practice all of the skills we've learned! 🎊

Bachata Sensual Fundamentals Workshop - Level 2! 💙✨💜 Aug 28th at 6:30pm at Areté Dance Center in Los Altos.

We will be focusing on the more complicated fundamental bachata sensual - hip rolls, dips, and head rolls. 🤸🏼‍♀️ There is a right and wrong way to lead these moves.

When led well, these can be some of the most lovely moves in Sensual Bachata. 😍😍 When led incorrectly, they look (and feel) awkward and most importantly can cause injury. In this class we explain the body mechanics for both lead and follow, key contact points, and how to flow one move to the next effortlessly. 💫

Guillermo and I are so excited to finally offer an in-person Bachata Sensual partner class at Areté Dance Center in Los Altos. We look forward to sharing all of the essential techniques from our training with the founders of the style, Korke & Judith. 💖✨

Our students will learn proper dance holds, the foundational bachata sensual movements, how to properly lead/follow them, and how to flow effortlessly from one to the next to build your own combinations. 🙌🏼

We will then practice the moves in a mini-social (participants of the workshop only). 💃🏼🕺🏻 No partner required. Masks required.

We will focus on building strength and flexibility, improving our technique and footwork, and will learn a 🌟NEW🌟 choreo while continuing to practice and refine our Season 1 choreo. Let's motivate each other to stay fit and healthy, and continue to work towards our dance goals! 🧡
