FORM & FUNCTION: Kettlebell Windmill
This movement challenges more than just strength.
The kettlebell windmill combines shoulder stability, thoracic mobility, hamstring flexibility, balance, coordination, and core control all in one exercise.
It’s the type of movement that helps support real-life function:
Rotating. Reaching. Bending. Stabilizing. Moving confidently through daily life.
At Evolution Trainers, we care less about flashy exercises and more about movements that help your body stay strong, capable, and resilient long term.

Movement matters more than most people realize.
When we stop moving consistently, the body usually lets us know first through stiffness, low energy, soreness, or feeling less steady day to day.
Walking and daily movement are a great foundation, but maintaining strength, mobility, balance, and endurance becomes even more important as we age.
The goal isn’t just exercise.
It’s staying capable, independent, and feeling good in your body long term.
Which one of these signs do you notice first when you haven’t been moving enough?

Let’s settle a debate.
Which of these notoriously tough exercises do you dislike more?
Burpees or Bulgarian split squats.
Both are great for building strength and conditioning…
but they’re not exactly fan favorites.

If there’s one move we wish everyone was doing… it’s this.
The Bretzel.
It improves thoracic mobility, opens up the hips, and helps restore rotation most people lose from sitting all day.
Better rotation = better movement
Better movement = fewer aches, stronger lifts
Simple. Effective. Underrated. 🧠✨

Most people train for summer, we train for 80+.
For getting up off the floor without assistance. For carrying groceries without strain. For traveling, hiking, and playing with grandkids without hesitation. For independence.
After age 30, adults can lose 3–8% of their muscle mass per decade if they’re not strength training. That decline accelerates with time. The good news? It’s preventable.
Strength is one of the strongest predictors of long-term mobility and independence as we age.
Your future doesn’t start at 80. It’s built right now. LET'S GO 🔥💪
