We have engineers, factory workers, tradespeople, lawyers, a rocket scientist and now a farmer, among other things, in Kenwakai. Most importantly though, each and every one is a good human being. I want to bring to your attention a negative review posted today by the South African Karate-jutsu Association about Kenwakai USA. The review states "Supports genocide and pedophiles. Please do not let your children near them." I don't know who these people are. This is defamatory and not what one might expect from martial artists who supposedly learn about dignity and respect, let alone honesty. Please free to share your opinion with them and to report any inappropriate posts to Facebook. Since this was posted as a negative review you can report it to Facebook. If people can make posts like this on a martial arts page, they will cause damage to the entire martial arts community. This affects all of us. It is disgusting. UPDATE after phone calls were made the review was taken down. It’s still unclear who is responsible but based on the calls and another post denying responsibility by an individual in South Africa who has an axe to grind, it’s very suspicious.

Ken: We faithfully practice the essence of karate, which Chief Instructor Takahashi has cultivated over many years, focusing on mastering the fundamentals of body, technique, and mind.

Wa: We cherish the members who gather in our Kenwakai. We value learning from each other, helping each other, complementing each other, and cooperating with each other.
