Just a few minutes ago I was thinking about making a post that highlighted the different outcomes between maintaining self-discipline, and the karmic price that we often must pay when we forgo self-discipline and what we know is best for our long-term interest, for one of any number of short-term, myopic convenient indulgences. And wouldn't you know it, TheStoics had one ready made just to say: Karma is a cruel teacher, and self-discipline builds the greatest outcomes.
