Thank you for joining us for our Capital Campaign Open House on Sunday!
We are thankful to have been joined by 83 attendees for the launch of Our Library, Our Future capital campaign here at the Mukwonago Community Library.
With your help we have raised close to $800k – well on our way to accomplishing our community goal of $1.1 million!

Remember, every gift to the Mukwonago Community Library capital campaign is doubled through October 31, thanks to a $10,000 anonymous match. There's never been a better time to invest in the future of your library. Visit bit.ly/mcldonate to give now and double your impact.

Thank you to our wonderful sponsors for providing the refreshments for this event!

Since 2010, the Village of Mukwonago's population has grown by nearly 18% and few have felt this growth more than the Mukwonago Community Library. Annual visits have grown by more than 60% since 2020, and use of our meeting rooms has nearly doubled since 2019. Rather than waiting for these changes to become a constraint, we're proactively responding to them across the entire building.

The Mukwonago Community Library is a hub for our whole community—and we're raising funds to make it even better. The Our Library, Our Future renovation will reimagine the building we already have, creating more spaces for learning, creativity, and connection, while making the Library more comfortable, efficient, and accessible for everyone.
Learn more about what we envision for the future of the Mukwonago Community Library at our Open House on Sunday, September 27 from 1:30-3:30pm!

Thank you for joining us for Waukesha County Land Conservancy Presents Turtles of Wisconsin this past Saturday.
We had a blast learning about the fascinating world of Wisconsin’s turtles, with a special focus on the species that call the Mukwonago River home!

Don't forget to register for Through the Lens: Wildlife Stories from the Field with David Heritsch this Wednesday, September 2 from 6:00–7:00pm!

For years, David Heritsch photographed the deer that share his wooded home, a passion that led to his debut book, Deer Mother: The Tale of a Wild Mother Named Daisy — an intimate family photo album following Daisy as she raises her fawns across the seasons. David will detail his fieldwork process, featuring stunning images of animals that live in and around these remarkable habitats.

Join David for a multimedia presentation on his fieldwork process, featuring stunning images from both projects. Copies of Deer Mother will be available for purchase at the event.
