In light of the difficult week our community has experienced, including the devastating flooding throughout our area and the heartbreaking loss of recent Delta graduate Matthew Morey, the Delta Baseball Boosters have made the decision to postpone the 4th Annual Corey Roach Memorial Golf Outing, originally scheduled for August 23.

We believe this is a time for our community to focus on supporting our friends, neighbors, and the Morey family. The golf outing has been rescheduled for October 25, and we sincerely appreciate the understanding of our golfers, sponsors, families, and supporters. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the Morey family and everyone affected during this incredibly difficult week. 💙⚾️🦅💛

We are heartbroken for the Morey family and so deeply sorry for the loss of their son, Matthew.

Matthew chose basketball and football in high school, but we know he always loved playing baseball too. How lucky were these boys to get to share so much time playing in the dirt with him.⚾️🥹

Our thoughts, prayers, and love are with the entire Morey family and all who had the privilege of knowing Matthew during this incredibly difficult time.
