Welcome back Ball State students! It’s that time of year to dust off the old fencing helmets and get back to fencing! (We’re just as excited as you are!)

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions placed by the university, there will be no in-person practice tonight or for a while until the coronavirus pandemic is under control. We are just as troubled by this as you are, but we hope to continue fencing again some time in the near future! We will keep you posted on updates as we receive them.

Unfortunately we have some bad news at the moment. We received an email this evening stating that all Sport Club practices, activities, events, etc. have been suspended for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester to limit physical contact and to adhere to the 6ft social distancing recommendation.

To everyone thinking of or planning to participate in fencing next year, please please PLEASE contact us when you can. Because four of our officers are graduating, we still need to find a way to fill those positions. We are doing our best to ensure that our club will thrive in the future.

In the meantime, please look out for announcements via email and social media as we plan out a new course of action to prepare for the next school year. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to any of the officers as we work through these final weeks of the semester.

Hello fencers!

We wanted to announce that our 6-week, spring rookie class will be starting tonight, Tuesday, January 21st at 8 pm in RC 212, just up the stairs from the rock wall. As always, all equipment is provided, you just need to come wearing athletic clothing.

If you can't make it tonight, our practice times are the same as last semester (Tuesdays and Thursday 8-10 pm and Sundays 2-4pm), so come by whenever you can. We're excited to schedule some new game nights and social events, so we're excited to see you there!

On Sunday November 24th, we will be having a FENCE-giving party! 🎉 🦃

This will be a potluck dinner in a Park Hall lounge for our members. It will be taking place instead of practice from 2-4!

We would love for you all attend, especially if we haven’t seen you in a while! This is a great time to hang out and enjoy a thanksgiving meal with friends!

If you do not know where park is located or need let inside of the dorm, we will be in the entrance at 2 to lead everyone up to the lounge. Park Hall is the dorm between Woodworth and Dehority.

HELLO EVERYBODY! School is about to start again and with that fencing once again. We are super excited to start again. This post is to let everybody know that our room and times have changed this year. We can now be found in RC212 A/B and our times have changed to Tuesday and Thursday from 8pm-10pm. And we now are practicing Sunday from 2pm-4pm .

The Ball State STAB is coming!! Our officers have been working hard to plan our first tournament since the Big 4-0pen in spring of 2016. Come down to Muncie, IN on April 13th!

Current and potential members: Spring semester practices just started up yesterday with our first meeting of the new year! Our practice times this semester are the same as last, come hang out with us from 9-11 pm in RC 141 from 9-11 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you were interested in attending last semester but couldn't make it, we'd love to meet you this semester.
