MTAC had a busy week!
And it’s one that means a lot to us.
For the past 10 years, we’ve had the privilege of supporting the Indiana SWAT Officers Association- not just by showing up, but by offering our time and training to the teams who serve on the front lines of our communities.
We were also in Mississippi at the same time for SWAT Basic. Through our Mobile Training Team, we’re able to bring real-world, applied training to agencies across multiple locations. Different teams, different environments- but the same commitment to the highest standards.
This isn’t just something we do- it’s part of who we are.
Giving back through training is a core part of our commitment to public safety and the communities these teams protect every day.
10 years partnered with ISOA, and new state partnerships every year- we are honored.

Busy week for our Mobile Training Team. Two locations. One mission.
Today, one crew is in Mississippi kicking off a closed-enrollment SWAT School, working directly with teams to sharpen performance where it matters most.
On Wednesday, another crew will be supporting the conference, offering free training opportunities to attendees.
If you’re attending, make sure you’re signed up and come train with us.
We’ll share more later this week on why we’ve committed the last decade to supporting the SWAT community.

“The ‘basics’ got thrown out the window.”
We see it on the streets and on the range all the time. As soon as pressure is applied, whether it’s a timer or a threat, performance starts to break down.
Grip falls apart.
Trigger pull gets sloppy.
Vision narrows.
Often, It’s not that people don’t know what to do…
It’s that they haven’t trained it to the level where it holds under stress.
Defensive Pistol 1 is where that gap gets exposed- and fixed.
Where fundamentals stop being “basic” and start becoming reliable.

Illinois and Chicago LEO- this is your final call!
MTAC Mobile Training Team is headed back to central Illinois for Swat Basic, and only a few spots remain!
Our close partnership with agencies across Illinois and Chicagoland is the result of years of trust built on the MTAC training cycle from marksmanship through force on force testing. We know officers in these areas especially require training for the whole picture of the worst case scenario, and we provide that in one week.
“Illinois has been a key part of MTAC’s growth. Thousands of officers from across the state have trusted us enough to travel to our facility for training, and now we’re bringing that same standard back to them each year in a central location.”-MTAC CEO
Whether you are a patrolman that wants to level up your skills, or on a team and looking for cutting edge training, you will leave the week as an asset to yourself and your department.

What’s the biggest thing people realize the first time they run the shoot house in Interior Conflict 1?
“A lot of people realize right away that CQB is much more complex and dangerous than they expected. Angles matter, communication matters, and if you’re not working as a team you’re essentially on your own. Most people also discover that static range shooting doesn’t automatically translate to running a rifle well inside a structure.”
The shoot house exposes problems fast- but that’s exactly why we train in it.
Interior Conflict 1 is coming up March 14
