Tick Tack Tuck "Tucker"
Aged Medium Pony Gelding
BORROW ONLY
Miles and miles of experience teaching littles and bringing them into the show ring for the first time.
Tucker has been a part of our lesson program for many years. He is still healthy and sound, but is looking for a lighter job with one lucky kiddo.
Perfect for w/t/c, poles and learning to jump the mini cross rails and going to the shows. He also has a lead change!
He is barefoot, minimal maintenance, you'd never guess he was over 20! Sweet as they come, can be turned out with geldings or mares (babysitter in the paddocks for the four legged friends and babysitter in the ring for the kids) š„°

Captain My Captain
2003 Oldenburg 15.3 7/8 Big Bodied Gelding
Borrow ONLY
"Jack" has had a lengthy and phenomenal USEF career in all three rings. Over the past few years he has stepped down to the local shows, still enjoying the jumper ring, equitation classes and hunter derbies.
Additionally, he has been used lightly with beginner walk- trot lessons and intermediate jumping lessons. He is sound with minimal maintenance; and is looking for a job that stays at or below the .8m job.
Over fences he is best suited for a rider that is quiet and can regulate a forward ride. He is sensitive to the aids and knows his job, making him super fun to ride! Also well educated and would be a fun option for a lower level dressage rider.
Reasonably priced for year lease.

Bittersweet day - As our Legally Blonde pony affectionately known as "Elle" officially begins her next journey at a new home. Many thanks to her breeder/owner Suzanne Hopf for entrusting her with us over these many years. It has been a pleasure to watch her develop and to teach so many riders the ropes. She is truly a gem both in and out of the ring. Although she will be missed greatly, she is going to a new home, with an eager young rider to love! Who could ask for moreā¤ļø

Dearest Riders,
Please let me remind you of something very important. Horse showing, riding and training are insanely difficult. If you have a crappy ride, a less than stellar show ring result (or if you made your trainer want to pull their hair out today), it just means there's more to learn. The people who had good rides today are not exempt from disappointing rides tomorrow. They also have bad days and, if they're very experienced riders, they've had a whole bunch of bad days.
There will always be someone out there on a more talented horse, someone with a bigger bank account, someone who never struggled to learn to sit the trot...life isn't fair. You probably can't win the lottery or grow 5 more inches of leg. You can, however, wake up every morning and be thankful that you're able to ride horses. Work hard at becoming the best rider you can be with the body and the bank account that you have right now. Work at being the rider your horse wants up there on his back. Your horse's opinion of your riding is more valuable than any judge's opinion could ever be.
