Watching Chelsea grow from when she first started with the Lobos to now committing to play NCAA Division II lacrosse has been absolutely amazing. We are so proud of all the hard work, dedication, and growth that brought her to this moment.

Chelsea, congratulations on this incredible accomplishment! Your Lobos family is so proud of you, and we can’t wait to watch you take on this next chapter at Lewis University!

Champions aren't defined by a trophy—they're defined by the heart, grit, and selflessness it takes to earn one. This 2028 Lake County Lobos team battled for every ground ball, every possession, and every moment, never backing down and never letting a teammate stand alone. They believed in each other when it mattered most, played with relentless hustle, and trusted that together they were stronger than any opponent.

Watching this team grow into a family has been incredible, and seeing them celebrate this moment together is something we'll never forget. So proud of every player, every coach, and everyone who helped make this run possible.

Our 2028 Lake County Lobos team is ready for an exciting weekend at the Chicago Showdown Tournament. Go Lobos!

Well… that’s a wrap on the 2026 Lake County Lobos season. 🐺🥍

For some of these players and coaches, this chapter comes to an end as they graduate and move on to high school lacrosse. And honestly, we couldn’t be prouder of this group of girls.

Some of you came to Lobos never even picking up a lacrosse stick before. Now look at you. The growth, confidence, toughness, and friendships built along the way have been incredible to watch. You all went from teammates to lifelong friends, and that’s something truly special.

Every season we say, “this group was special,” but there was just something different about this team. The bond these girls created, the way they supported one another, laughed together, battled together, and grew together is beyond anything we could have imagined.

We cannot wait to watch you all continue your journeys as student-athletes in high school. Keep working hard, stay humble, and remember where it all started.

And lastly, thank you to Coach Jaime and Coach Jon.

You two have been there since the beginning of Lobos. You stepped up, took the lead with this team, and showed what true dedication looks like. There were days when life was busy, work was exhausting, and personal things could’ve easily kept you away from practice — but you still showed up for these girls every single time with passion, energy, and love.

That’s what makes Lobos special.

We have a feeling this won’t be the last time we see this gang together again… maybe a few future tournaments are already calling your names. 😉
