Unfortunately we did not get the W today for either fighter. They both had tough fights and learned from this.

Kiko faced a more experienced fighter and was good for him. But he learned a lot. He learned more about his nerves and closing the gap sooner.

Joe, he had a great showing and I felt he was wining the fight, but only MAYBE losing on the exchanges. But either way, win or lose we recognize and will capitalize on learning from this loss. This year is not over and we will make sure they stay busy and better for next bout.

Speed and conditioning isn’t built when you’re comfortable….when it’s the perfect weather, when you have had a full nights sleep, perfect food, body feels great, when you’re kids behave, the perfect day of the week and time.

It’s built in the humidity, slippery grass, terrible nights sleep, early Sunday mornings, tight hamstrings, sore neck, etc.

You’ll thank yourself when it pays off!!!! And it will………….
